Our Next Ride

Other group rides we run
Since January 2010 we have been running group rides – large and small – as part of our Bike Train project as well as other initiatives.

Bike Train
During 2010 to 2014 we ran rides every weekday from The Level park in central Brighton, along the A270 Lewes Road, to the University of Sussex and University of Brighton sites at Falmer. This was until improvements were made to the route to make it safer for cycling.
We also ran bike trains to events and weekly rides to various local schools, including Dorothy Stringer, Patcham High & Davigdor Infants.
We now run occasional Bike Trains to events, most notably the annual Bonfire Bike Train to Lewes Bonfire Night festivities every 5th November. We also support the weekly Old Shoreham Road Bike Train which helps kids cycle to school each Friday and the twice-yearly Kidical Mass ride.

Led Rides programme
During 2023 we were commissioned by Brighton & Hove City Council to run a programme of Led Rides for local refugees and asylum seekers.
During 2024 we have worked with the Brighton Multicultural Women’s Cycle Club, on behalf of Brighton & Hove City Council, to run several women’s cycle training sessions in Hove Park.
Kidical Mass
In partnership with Bricycles, the Brighton & Hove cycling campaign, each April & September we organise family-friendly Kidical Mass rides across Brighton & Hove. See our Kidical Mass page for more details.
