Brighton Bike Hub
Community cycle workshop
26b St Martin’s Place
Brighton BN2 3LE
Visit us at our open-air workshop at St Martin’s Place, off Brighton’s Lewes Road. We’re currently (Jan/Feb2021) open three days a week: Thursday to Saturday, from 11am to 5pm.
We’ll be open for more days and longer hours come the spring.
We work to enable members of the community to access affordable cycling by providing:
- free access to tools and workshop space for DIY repairs (donations appreciated)
- affordable new and used parts
- advice and support from our volunteer team
- a choice of second-hand bikes bargain prices
We welcome donations of bikes which we refurbish to make available for resale at affordable prices.
This year we’ve teamed up again with Cycling UK as part of the Big Bike Revival offering discounted/free services and basic repairs. We are also participating in the governments Fix Your Bike Voucher Scheme, for those that are in need of more challenging repairs.
Brighton Bike Hub is an initiative of the Lewes Road for Clean Air community group, which supports a transition away from car dependency toward low-impact forms of transport like cycling to improve air quality, make our streets more people and planet-friendly, reducing air pollution and carbon emissions while getting around more cheerfully.
