Adult Cycle Training – Summer 2026
We are now offering regular cycle training sessions for adults (16yrs+) in and around Preston Park on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings during May to October 2026.
These are suitable for complete beginners as well as those wanting to improve their cycling skills and confidence. Beginners will have sessions within the park, while those already able to cycle will be invited to leave the park to practice a range of manouvres on quiet local streets.
Our experienced instructors will help all participants to develop their cycling competence and confidence, so that they will feel able to cope with riding on streets around the city.

These sessions are supported with grant funding from Sport England. This enables us to offer them at a reduced rate of £10 per person per session (instead of £35).
We recommend that participants commit to a course of three consecutive sessions to get the most out of it.
